This expert panel, organised by the Leibniz Lab ‘Systemic Sustainability’ and hosted by the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB), examined what drives success or failure in innovations for the blue and green bioeconomy. Discussions focused on enabling environments, the role of co-creation and bidirectional science communication, and how data can help evaluate and scale innovations. The session invited participants to explore pathways toward a mindset shift for systemic sustainability.
